CTUAAA 12TH SUMMIT MEETING

Northern California Alumni Gathered to Welcome Xiaoqing Zhang, the new Chairman of CTUAAA

On February 28, 2022, the Northern California Alumni Association of Jiaotong University took advantage of the visit of Xiaoqing Zhang, the new chairman of Chiao-Tung University Alumni Association in America, and Shanhong Wu, the president of the Northern California Alumni Association, organized alumni gatherings at San Jose, and many senior alumni attended.

The participating alumni are Meijuan Chen , Mincheng Jin, Dong Xie, Dunfa Xi, Yu Deng, Weiyuan Shi, Wenzhao Lian and Yunpu Li. Although the kind senior Mincheng had to leave early, he quietly paid for everyone.

The next day, Dong Xie, the new president of the Alumni Association in America, also went to the hotel where Xiaoqing stayed in Mountain View for a party, and talked about the work ideas in 2022.

The next CTUAAA Reunion Summit will be grandly held in Washington, D.C., the capital of the United States. The first summit was successfully initiated in 1964 by Mr. Zengjue Zhao, a class of 1924 alumnus, and held every five years. We look forward to alumni from all over the world meeting in Washington, D.C., to participate in the grand event; five schools, one family, go far together!

Donated Our First Large Batch of Surgical Masks

With very limited PPE available in US, and very difficult to obtain PPE directly from China with right certifications and guaranteed quality, our alumni worked relentlessly long hours, many days late into nights, on the many leads, verified product quality, checked price range, to obtain PPE to protect our doctors and nurses who are fighting against Covid19 at the front line.
